Getting Value from Core-Hybrid Implementations

SAP HCM Insights LogoSome companies aren't ready to migrate all HR functions to the cloud with SAP SuccessFactors - and for those, we have Core-Hybrid implementations. Core HR is on the SuccessFactors platform, and other functions such as Time and Payroll remain in the SAP on-premise system. Steve Bogner, Brandon Toombs, Becky Murray and Sven Ringling discuss the tools and methods from SAP SuccessFactors to get this done, why a company might want to go with a Core-Hybrid approach, tradeoffs, and advice for getting it done.

Many thanks to the PODCAST team that put this together and the various speakers. Although I'm one of the people driving this topic within SAP, and am therefore aware of much of the content, I really appreciated the outside-in perspective.
Am sure the vast majority of customers will agree with you that our approach of encouraging change in areas where this is driven by business demand and not forcing change in areas where stability and low risk are valued like compliance related topics is the right one. For some a complete move will make sense to our new offerings, especially those that currently don't have a stable core / global solution in place, but for those that have already consolidated and harmonised, they'll be able to fully enjoy the ROI of that work, while expanding into new areas like our talent suite, experience management and employee central.
Thank you too for highlighting that there is market FUD being spread that gives the impression that we're somehow 'switching off' what the customers have today - and of course nothing could be further from the truth!
Every customer journey is unique, and they should speak to their partner of choice or SAP directly to easily map out what makes sense for their organisation. Phillip Booth (HXM MOVE Program- SAP)

Thanks for that feedback Phillip! Yes, FUD is a big issue and we need to make clear for customers that they do have options. And then help them find the right option for their situation.
