SAPPHIRE/ASUG Wrap-Up - Part A

Our SAPPHIRE/ASUG wrap-up is long, so we broke it into two podcasts - part A and part B. In this first part, we answer some listener's questions and then get into a discussion about what was announced at SAPPHIRE/ASUG in Orlando this year.

Replays of the SAPPHIRE content are available at www.sapphirenow.com and Martin's pictures are on Flickr. ASUG has posted several videos on their YouTube channel, ASUG-TV. One of those videos is Thomas Wailgum's interview of Steve Bogner, Martin Gillet and Jarret Pazahanick titled "SAP Under the Microscope: HCM and SuccessFactors".

One of the issues we talked about is SAP Certification - and the blog that recently stirred up some controversy.

One of members - Luke Marson - has an SAP Press book coming out about Talent Management in SAP HCM, which we briefly mention. Be sure to check it out when it's published; Luke is a recognized expert in SAP HCM Talent Management as well as an SAP Mentor and always has good information to share.

We also mention HANA, and an SAP Press book is also available for that for those interested in learning more details.
