What do you wish SAP or EC Payroll could do for you, that it currently doesn’t?
SAP Payroll and its younger cousin EC Payroll are very powerful systems. Of course, they have their weaknesses and constraints, and if one knows what to do then many of them can be mitigated or resolved. But in a few recent customer conversations I’ve heard complaints that SAP/EC Payroll can’t do certain things that I know it can. Things like – posting certain expenses to the GL with a fixed cost center, preventing 401k deferrals from changing retroactively or from going negative in the current period, showing retroactive changes on the pay statement and so on.
